Today, Monday April 23 2018 the Columbia University Tech and Policy Series presents Internet of Things: Perspectives from National Planning in Brazil & China in NYC. Representatives from the government and the private sector involved in the implementation of the national plans from both countries will join Columbia University scholars to address the following issues: • Why should countries consider IoT national plans? • What are the best practices based on the Chinese and Brazilian experiences? • How did China and Brazil approach the collaborative process of building a national IoT plan, and what were the policy issues that they focused on solving? • What are the global regulatory challenges related to IoT that can be tackled at the national levels in these plans? The event will be webcast live on the Internet Society Livestream Channel.
