WEBCAST APR 20 – A11yNYC – Creating Accessible iOS Apps: An Action Plan – Daniel Devesa Derksen-Staats
On Thursday April 20 2023 at 7:30pm-8:30pm EDT (23:30-0 :30 UTC) the Accessibility NYC Meetup (A11yNYC) hosts a meetup ‘Creating Accessible iOS Apps: An Action Plan‘. Users spend the majority of their time on smartphones by using native apps, so it is very important that such apps be accessible. Dani Devesa Derksen-Staats, author of the ‘Developing Accessible iOS Apps‘, will give a primer on how to get started with accessibility features on Apple devices, including VoiceOver and Dynamic Type, and outline best practices.
The meetup will be webcast live via a partnership with the Internet Society New York Accessibility SIG.
