WEBCAST TODAY: Cyber #Surveillance: Silicon Valley Impacts and Responses @SFBayISOC #inetsf

INET SFToday, Friday May 9 2014 the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the Internet Society brings you a full day INET Conference – Cyber Surveillance: Silicon Valley Impacts and Responses – at Santa Clara University. This is the second surveillance-oriented INET the SF Chapter has mounted, the first was last October. Today’s event will focus specifically on the effects on Silicon Valley industries and will comprise 5 panels representing Business, Technology, the Press, Public Policy, and how all of the above may collaborate on solutions. Finally the day will be capped by a keynote from noted author David Brin. The conference will be webcast live via the Internet Society livestream channel.
