In a recent Wired article The Internet Deserves Its Own Holiday, writer Marvin Ammori suggested that January 18, the anniversary of the SOPA/PIPA blackout, be celebrated as Internet Freedom Day. The suggestion was well received and many event will take place this Friday, including this one in NYC. T
