He has spent most of his life in computer programming and is expert in issues regarding Persian language and Arabic script. Working for a ccTLD registry for more than four years, he has became involved in internationalization issues of the Internet, specifically the Domain Name System. He has been a contributer to many open source projects, including GNOME and Mozilla.
