Eben Moglen, professor of law and legal history at Columbia University, and founder, Director-Counsel and Chairman of the Software Freedom Law Center, will speak about "Freedom in the Cloud: Software Freedom, Privacy and Security for Web 2.0 and Cloud Computing" on Friday, February 5, 2010, 7-9 pm.

ISOC-NY will be holding member meetings on the following dates in early 2010:

  • Jan 28
  • Feb 25
  • Apr 1
  • Apr 29

Being the last Thursday of each month except March, when we get put back a week. All at 6.30pm in Rm. 412.

  • What: ISOC-NY Members meeting
  • When: (As above) 6.30pm-8.00pm
  • Where: Room 412, Warren Weaver Hall, 251 Mercer Street NYC (SW corner of West 4th) (See note below)


  • Note: Use the entrance on the west side since construction blocks the Mercer Street entrance. Must bring ID.
