Mike
Joly,
Were there problems loading ALL talks from the recent HOPE XII Conference?
Will they be available in their entirety on this sight without having to wait four years for 2600 to post to their YouTube page? There are some obvious omissions over the three day event on all three rooms when compared to the official schedule of talks listed for the event.
We’d all like to see them in their entirety if possible for posterity reasons.
Best,
M-
joly
Vaughan is done, although needs some audio fixes, I will catch up with the other rooms in the next couple of days.

Mike
Joly,
Kudos on getting most of the talks up! There remains the first talk on Sunday in the Vaughan room that is missing from the posting. Evidence it took place is apparent in the frozen frame of speakers Camille Fassett and Jennifer Helsby, located at the beginning of the talk ‘History of the Maker Movement’ in your link to the Vaughan room videos above. Any possibility of getting that posted as well?
Best,
Mike

I did reply to this earlier, but it seems not to have gone through. I’m afraid Camille & Jennifer suffered from the same audio glitch that bedeviled audio scene. I will fix and post shortly. Also in for the fix are the other two talks after Rambam on Sat.

WEBCAST WED/THU: The Gambia National Internet Governance Forum #GMIGF2018 #GMIGF
On Wed/Thur 4-5 July 2018, The Gambia National Internet Governance Forum is taking place in Serrekunda, The Gambia with the theme “Internet Governance in The New Gambia“. The Internet Governance Forum serves to bring people together from various stakeholder groups as equals, in discussions on public policy issues related to the Internet. The Forum is being organized to represent all key stakeholders in the Gambia through a National Steering Committee coordinated by the Ministry of Information and Communication Infrastructure (MOICI). The Forum was initiated in late 2009, after the start of the West African Internet Governance forum. Since 2010 the Gambia has hosted three National Internet Governance forums, the last being in 2012. Due to the restrictive nature of the former regime, the National IGF was halted after its 3rd edition. The reasons were lack of open access to internet resources and an enabling environment where freedom of expression was respected. Since the coming into office of the new government in January 2017, the Gambia re-joined the community of democratic nations where freedom of expression and civil liberties are fully respected. Everyone is welcome to join to discuss key Internet policy issues that affect The New Gambia. The event is being webcast live on the Internet Society Livestream Channel.
